The Eagle product has evolved since 1992 to meet the needs of our customers, and to align with the product direction of QAD. For example, the '90s saw the addition of Enhanced Shipping and Pallet Inventory Functionality, as well as the integration of EDI into the Eagle-QAD solution. More recently, Eagle has announced:

RFExpress.net UI

Eagle users have been able to access RF Express for QAD Enterprise Applications from the web since 2000. Today, RFExpress.net UI is available for use with all new releases of Eagle's product, RF Express for QAD Enterprise Applications.  A demo is available
 

Because the UI is based on Microsoft .NET technology, it adds a familiar look and feel to the powerful functionality and scalability of the Eagle solution.

RF Extend for QAD Enterprise Applications

While RF Express for QAD Enterprise Applications already enables our customers to access a host server from any remote site over the Internet, Eagle has developed RF Extend for QAD Enterprise Applications to enable customers who rely on that connection to continue operating should they lose connectivity.

Customers who choose QAD’s OnDemand Hosting can prepare for this possibility by implementing RF Extend for QAD Enterprise Applications, which runs in the Progress APP Server environment.  Users can access this product over the Internet using HTML or Progress front ends, among others.  RF Extend for QAD Enterprise Applications supports all modules available in Eagle’s standard product. In the event that connectivity is lost, Eagle can continue to collect data and post it to the QAD database via QAD QXtend once the connection becomes available. This technology also allows integration of touch screen devices.
