Eagle Meets Visteon’s
International Challenges
KINNELON, N.J.—(BusinessWire)—July 19, 2002—Visteon

More than two years ago Visteon had a large chassis
system project in Poland where they planned to implement a bar code
solution. The Poland facility
became the first to implement RF Express for MFG/PRO.
Most of the people in the plant only spoke Polish, so there was
a language barrier to overcome. Even
though the Management team speaks
English, Eagle worked through a translator who is knowledgeable in the
field. Eagle was able to
deliver because it has a European implementation group.
The implementation was on time and on budget.
That experience proved that choosing Eagle was the right move that
produced the “expected” results.
In 2002, on the heels of a South African
implementation, Visteon will implement RF Express for MFG/PRO across
multiple sites in North America and nine sites in France where Visteon is
also running the QAD MFG/PRO solution. They’re going to use RF Express
for MFG/PRO to receive original raw materials, store them, put them in
work-in-progress and ship them to the end customer.
The data collection has to be robust, very easy to use and
extraordinarily accurate, and that’s where RF Express for MFG/PRO
