QAD Again Names Eagle "Product Partner of the Year"

For the fourth time in the last five years, enterprise solution provider
QAD (Nasdaq: QADI) has recognized Eagle Consulting & Development as its
"Product Partner of the Year." Eagle is the leading provider of portable
wireless technology solutions for QAD customers worldwide.
Bill Paone, Eagle's
executive vice president, sales and marketing, accepted the award on
behalf of Eagle, saying, "Eagle has been a strategic partner of QAD
since 1992, providing quality products and services to manufacturers in
the automotive, consumer products, electronics, food and beverage,
industrial products and life sciences industries. QAD's consistent
validation of our efforts tells us that our product, support and service
are meeting - and even exceeding - their expectations. As for our
customers and users, over 800 QAD customers at 3,000+ sites around the
world have made Eagle the leading provider of portable wireless
technology solutions to the QAD community."
According to Paone, QAD's
recognition comes at a time of change for both organizations. On May 2,
QAD Inc. announced an enhanced version of its software platform for
global manufacturers, QAD Enterprise Applications 2007, formerly known
as QAD MFG/PRO.
Over the years, Eagle has
consistently aligned its product (architecture, coding language,
technology, and environment) and its organizational structure
(industries served and worldwide sales and support configuration) with
QAD's. For that reason, Eagle has changed its product name for the first
time, replacing RF Express™ for MFG/PRO with RF Express™ for QAD
Enterprise Applications. Paone continues, "Eagle's customers, partners
and friends will see other changes this year, in addition to the new
name." For example, Eagle's new Performance Made Portable™ language puts
the emphasis squarely on Portable Wireless Technology, encompassing not
just bar coding but RFID and advanced automated data collection
technology.
