Gives Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Global Control, Corporate License
and Full Integration
KINNELON,
N.J.—(BusinessWire)—February 4, 2002—A desire for global control, a corporate license and full integration with
enterprise solution QAD MFG/PRO led Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics
Corp. to Eagle Consulting & Development’s RF Express™ for QAD
MFG/PRO®. “We reached out
to Eagle, which we recognized as a premiere supplier of online, real-time
bar code solutions,” said Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Business
Systems Manager Steve DeMarco.
Saint-Gobain is the world's largest processor of
high-performance polymers, including fluoropolymers, silicones, and
high-performance thermoplastics, with more than
50 locations in 17 countries.
“We had multiple
manufacturing sites requesting some type of bar code application,” said
DeMarco, who is responsible for implementing technology offering a
universal solution to keep IT costs down. “On a site-by-site basis any
solution gets pretty costly and hard to justify.”
