When raw materials are received using an RF terminal running RF Express for QAD Enterprise Applications, a bar-coded label containing a unique lot number, auto-generated by QAD, is printed. Additionally the supplier "Vendor Lot" value is captured and stored within the QAD inventory record data. During the manufacturing process, RF transactions capture critical lot traceability data as raw materials are delivered to the manufacturing workstations. Materials may then be palletized and distributed to warehouses or other company sites.
