Information has its greatest value at the moment when it's captured. The longer an organization must wait for visibility into the movement of raw materials, components and finished goods, the greater the impact on the ability to plan, promise and make decisions.
Eagle's product architecture includes a control file that can be used to enable or disable functionality on a site-specific basis without modifying any code. This provides maximum flexibility to multi-site manufacturers, enabling them to utilize a single database. (Want to know more? Ask about "rfvalues".)
Eagle customers do not have the expense of an additional server, PC, middleware or changes to QAD code. Nor do they need a resource to manage that hardware and software. Eagle communicates directly with the QAD database.
In addition, Eagle's customers spend significantly less time on error resolution and enjoy improvement in worker efficiency as data entry tasks are eliminated and centralized clerical function removed.

Yanfeng USA Automotive Trim Systems
"Conversations with members of the Eagle team at the Explore conference reminded me of how much I enjoy spending time with true professionals who understand the automotive industry and apply their skill sets to make my job in that industry much more pleasant.
"It's not often where you find a company that will underpromise what they will do for you, and then overdeliver from what was promised."

In addition to demonstrating the use of smart devices, Eagle team members also conducted product demonstrations of its new Continuous Backflush Process (CBP). This process is standard for Enterprise Editions (EE).
The Eagle CBP transaction reads the file, performs the backflush, creates the container and generates the container label in QAD in real time, using data sent by shop-floor equipment/PLC.
The smart architecture allows customers to use their existing PLC and software to create the input files from various production lines.
The product design allows customers to have one CBP session for multiple lines or unique CBP sessions per line for transaction monitoring.
The Eagle Portal is a collection of tools to help customers get more out of their existing Eagle investment. For example:
Eagle's Business Intelligence (BI) tool set allows supervisory monitoring of plant / warehouse usage of Eagle transactions.
Eagle BI provides for simple charting of key transaction utilization and other metrics for operations improvement.
The portal simplifies accurate product identification by making it possible to load part images (.jpeg, .jpg, .tif, etc.) that can be displayed on end user devices.
Over the years, Eagle has consistently focused on User Experience (UX) improvement; some of the most recent examples include the .NET, iOS and Android releases.
